ScribbleLit

Friend notes again for Swapdoodle and Swapnote on Nintendo 3DS. This is new and hasn't been tried on many consoles yet.

Install

You need custom firmware (Luma3DS) with game patching on, and system version 11.17.0. Scan this in FBI, or download the app:

Open ScribbleLit and press A, then restart your 3DS. You and your friend both need it.

Good to know

• Swapnote and Swapdoodle work on the US versions so far. Other regions are coming.
• Pretendo mode isn't supported yet.
• Known problem: on US and Canadian consoles that never set it up, the game asks for your birthday and that step can't finish (error 008-0502 or it keeps asking), because Nintendo's age check server is gone. We're working on it.
• Notes go only to the friends you choose and are deleted a day after delivery. They aren't encrypted on the way, so don't send anything private.
• Flipnote is coming later.
